Jacobla did not so much as sense the tension as have it suddenly thrust upon him. "I would feel terribly guilty if you did that, seeing as I sold you that blade down in Surda before we were waylaid." Jacobla didn't mind if Cirilai chose to disreguard her alibi, but then again he didn't know of her professional business tactics. Her business probably relied on more word of mouth than Jacobla's more secretive doings. It seemed strange that open assassinations would be more advertised that theft but that was the world they lived in. "Any who," the tension was more than palpable, it was unpleasant. "We should probably hash out some sort of combative plan, as I'm sure you're both good at doing. Or maybe even resting up for the ordeal of the morrow. Or, not talking about killing eachother when we met only minutes ago in a bar." He was still leaning against the tree but his giddiness had faded some, replaced by the fears and paranoia that kept him alert and alive. Cirilai may have been able to best most in a fight but Jacobla worked best at avoiding such conflicts.
