Fotarlin application « Thread Started on Jan 16, 2009, 2:20pm »
Name: Fotarlin Tilmanör Owner Name: Calum Phrase Needed to Insure You Read the Rules: I Believe in a Thing Called Dragons! Age: 38 Gender: Male Allegiance: Varden Race: Dwarf Strengths:
Fotarlin's major strengths are his swordsmanship, his accuracy in archery, his survival skills and his crafting skills.
Weaknesses:
Although he be a strong warrior his weaknesses are: his ability to trust anyone and not go any further into their past, his depressive attitude towards others (he acts as though there is no hope and puts other people down) and he has a very bad temper.
Biography:
Fotarlin was born into the beor mountains and was brought up in a hut next to the Beartooth River. Typically his father would retrieve the wood, food and other supplies while his mother would craft useful items. Fotarlin was trained by his father in archery (hunting), swordsmanship, and survival skills. His mother taught him how to cook and craft certain items.
Fotarlin had finally became sixteen and was grown into manhood. He left to help the varden and reach Surda. After two months when his quest was completed he got the terrible knews that boulders had collapsed upon his parents house and crushed his parents. They died and Fotarlin was reduced to badly tempered and depressed. While people cried and sobbed at the funeral he sat there unhurt and as though he was waiting in a line. He was though hurt and basically broken. He is now a heartless warrior who kills when told and doesn't care for the people he kills. The one good thing left in him is his way to trust everyone although it can be a fault since there are people you cannot trust.
Role Play Sample:
Fotarlin was standing on the dry sparring field with his long, thin sword dangling beside him. Fotarlin wore a green tunic, brown, leather leggings, a long-sleeved woolen top under his tunic and black leather sandals on his feet. He wasn't fighting with anyone but the swiftly moving air. He lifted the sword to eye level and shot his right arm forward and his sword was a grey blur. He swung round as did his sword and played with his mind so as to see armoured men standing infront of him. The sword slashed through the unarmoured hips and slaughtered one at a time. Fotarlin then snapped round and swung and slashed his sword in every direction.
Fotarlin realised he was starting to sweat a lot and began to get tired so he placed his sword back on the rack and was pleased with his attempt. He left for his tent.
Additional Information:
Fotarlin is learning blacksmith but having his duties can make it difficult to learn. Although he is a warrior he is intrested in ruins and owns a shelf-full of books that he reads in his spare time.
